Galatians 5:22 helps us answer questions: Am I loving? Am I choosing joy? Am I walking in peace? Am I practicing forbearance? Am I leading with kindness? Am I living in goodness? Am I being faithful? Am I responding with gentleness? Am I exercising self-control in my thoughts, actions, and desires? These questions stop any unhealthy thinking in it's tracks and redirects us to the fruit that lives in us.

Psalm 23:1 declares, "The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing". If we lack nothing then why are we rushing? When we move fast in our days, our minds get flooded with thoughts- making it challenging to hear from the Holy Spirit. Your pace is reflective of what's happening in your mind and heart. We should be encouraged to slow our minds and create a space that always makes room for the Holy Spirit. In doing so, we honor God's gift and permit ourselves to walk boldly in love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
